·        The sponsor is an Australian citizen/ permanent resident or eligible new-Zealand citizen and is over 18 years of age. He must be approved by the department of home-affairs to nominate an applicant on a partner visa. The sponsor must not have any limitations and must provide police Clearance check certificates. The Sponsor will be checked as fit against measures for the protection of children.

·        Applicant: must be in a genuine marriage/de-facto relationship,

·        not had a visa cancelled or an application refused if onshore

·        be outside Australia when you apply for 309/100

·        have an eligible sponsor

·        be the right marriage age

·        meet relationship requirements

·        meet health and character requirements

·        have no debt to the Australian Government

·        Be for the best interests of the child

·        Must provide enough supporting documents to prove authenticity of     their relationship.

·        Relations must be 2 years old before a permanent visa can be granted.
