Partner visa (subclass 820 /801)
·The sponsor is an Australian citizen/ permanent resident or eligible new-Zealand citizen and is over 18 years of age. He must be approved by the department of home-affairs to nominate an applicant on a partner visa. The sponsor must not have any limitations and must provide police Clearance check certificates. The Sponsor will be checked as fit against measures for the protection of children.
·Applicant: must be in a genuine marriage/de-facto relationship,
·not had a visa cancelled or an application refused if onshore
·be outside Australia when you apply for 309/100
·have an eligible sponsor
·be the right marriage age
·meet relationship requirements
·meet health and character requirements
·have no debt to the Australian Government
·Be for the best interests of the child
·Must provide enough supporting documents to prove authenticity of their relationship.
·Relations must be 2 years old before a permanent visa can be granted.
