·        Dependent child of a parent who is an Australian citizen, eligible New Zealand citizen or holder of an Australian permanent visa, under 18 years, a full-time student aged over 18 and under 25, or over 18 and unable to work due to a disability

·        Single and dependent on the parent

·        Is in Australia when the application is made

·        Meet the health and character requirement if child is over 16 years of age

·        Must have consent to migrate to Australia from their other parent or guardians

·        Sponsor must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or an eligible New Zealand citizen, is over 18 years of age, and is either child’s parent or parent’s partner.

·        An adopted child can be sponsored under this visa if the adoption process is done as per Australian legal requirements and hold an adoption certificate.
